Wow. I never imagined that the answer to that question might be "watch this 11 minute video".This is the closes I could find and it's use.
You did not have to "watch" the whole video as the light is in the first 37seconds.Wow. I never imagined that the answer to that question might be "watch this 11 minute video".
Hi, Many Thanks for the info.Neewer, available from Amazon. Bought the 45W version last week to do some tests with.
Search Amazon for "LED e27 photography" and look for the CRI 90 versions. Only Neewer declares a CRI value from what I could find.
So far I've only tested that they work, that the lamp holder I've bought works and that the whole lot mounts into my softbox. I've done a 30 minute heat test in my softbox - barely warm, there's plenty of room out the back of the mount for the fan built in to the lamp to breathe.I assume it is a photograohy test you are doing with the light/s if so any observations on them please?
Hi, Cannot buy the ones from Amazon as will not post here to meonly UK but found on good old Ebay from China (where else makes electrical goods? So far I've only tested that they work, that the lamp holder I've bought works and that the whole lot mounts into my softbox. No test shots yet, perhaps later this week. One thing I did note, the 45W is *bright* for a continuous lamp, even through the double diffusion of the softbox.
It depends how you're going to use it. I want it in a big softbox or behind a big scrim to provide reliable and repeatable "daylight" regardless of the weather outside for tabletop, product, food, etc. I'd also like the option to shoot wide-open with fast lenses so I suspect I'll end up with a lower powered version of this lamp as well.Hi, Cannot buy the ones from Amazon as will not post here to meonly UK but found on good old Ebay from China (where else makes electrical goods?) but above you said that the 45W are very bright, do you feel to bright and maybe 24W would be a better option? Thanks again, Russ

I can share this now.. this was the shot I had the gear set-up for. 45W Neewer LED in softbox to the right of frame, large white card reflector for some fill to the left. My intention was big, soft, pseudo-daylight that I could control.Had it set-up today with the softbox, can't post the main shot that was my purpose of setting it up
