After a discussion on the Talk Equipment sub forum, it was recommended i ask a similar question over here
Long story short, i am looking at upgrading my D300 to a FF Nikon, and the 2 options i have at the moment are the older D700, and the newer D600/610, it was mentioned however that the D600 does not have as good an AF system as the pro spec D700, and this could be a disadvantage for wildlife shooting
So really i am asking if anyone on here shoots with a D600 and has ever had issues with the AF system
Also, while i've got you here, are there any D700 shooters, and how do you manage with potentially severe cropping on the 'relatively low' 12MP count of the D700 (the main thing putting me off the older D700)
Cheers
