I want a D3X
I thought you had had one or did I imagine it.
You imagined it, and now you have to make it reality. Can I send you my address?![]()
D300 replacement is expected to be DX, otherwise it's more a replacement for the D700 imo.![]()

OMG, I am sooooooo out of date with a D2X, some old 'D' and DX lenses, and a pair of SB28s..... my pics are just aging as I look at them. I feel like a loser....

It's true...those fish are bleeding pixels as we speak...
I just dug out some old Nikon Pro magazines and was looking at the images taken with the (then) 'latest' D1x...
Nothing wrong with them at all...![]()
Gary - thought you had a D3x...? Oh no...wait... you didn't buy my spare one that I ended up selling for pocket-change, did you...![]()
Are you finding you still need to advertise as much?
had a few chats with other people about this and apart from a decent website and then shouting about it on FaceBook and Flickr, there seems to be a groundswell of opinion that traditional advertising isn't as cost-effective as we'd all like to believe...
I'd certainly buy the kit first, even if it meant having to hawk flyers round the bazaars on foot if it came to such a choice...
Bizarre timing, about to right a thread (unless my next client comes in first), loosely related to the question you just asked.

I agree. Where I see improvement is the lens lineup. Canon has such a plethora of lenses - with/without USM, with/without IS, various f/2.8 or f/4 zooms - that makes me jealous. And all their lenses work on the consumer enty bodies as well.Interesting to read that some people think Nikon are falling behind - I don't see that being the case at all, on any of the models! The Nikon lineup is excellent.
