What do you guys use for honing and sharpening, any preferred techniques?
The orange and black one looks good, is it also a Sanrenmu?
Nice additions Mike I have the sanrenmu also,great little knife.I also use the lasnky sticks and a strop.I did ponder the wicked edge pro but far too much money for me to justify when the sticks get the blades as sharp as I would need.

Partly why I went for it mate..cutting up bait for fishing can be messy!It looks like that knife will be easy to keep clean anyway![]()
Yeah saw that recommended in a video i watched earlier hugh...I think i will stick with it and give it a go for the price,cant warrant the cost of the next step up.Well I could but mrs will kill me after spending over a hundred on knives this week.One tip for using the deluxe system is to use the same rod for all stones in a sharpening sequence, small angle variations/bends in each rod can put the bevel off.
