I have been watching F1 for more years than I can remeber, with no particular affilitions.
For the first time ever I would say I can't wait for the new season to start.
And I think LH will be head and shoulders above JB, even if JB can get McLaren to build him a totally different car to the one they will make for LH to suit his smoother driving style.
Alonso at Ferrari, well lets hope he fires them up a bit, will also be watching Kimi in the WRC with interest (but not spectating any time soon - run here comes Kimi again

)
Not sure how the "pit stop less" format will appear on TV, all going to be very interesting.
Also when is someone going to give "Berine the b******d" a nostalga injection. It's all very well him telling Silverstone they have to buck their idea up just after a GP at probably the most expensive GP venue ever built (Abu Dabi) but where would F1 be without Silverstone, Spa, Monza, Monaco etc??
There is no doubt Bernie has done lots of good things for the sport but why does he still have to play so hard after all these years?.
And what about Jean Todd at the helm of the FIA??
Roll on 2010
