I'm actually surprised there hasn't been any remake so far.
The two Bobs would have to sign it off and they will not they have said inn the past.

They should absolutely never remake these films!!
There are a few nerdy errors, one being the Gibson ES 335 that Marty plays at the Fantasy Under The Sea ball in 1955. The 335 didn't exist until 1958 and the one that Marty plays is I think, an early 60's model.
I agree. There are a few films which should never have been remade. The Italian Job and Charlie And The Chocolate Factory spring to mind. The originals were fine, there was no need to have another go.
By all means, make Back To The Future IV, but don't remake the existing films.
Steve.

Michael J Fox is still acting and more importantly Lea Thompson and Elisabeth Shue both still look gorgeous. To be honest, I don't think I would like to see a part IV to these films. Didn't work with Indiana Jones, can't see it working here. Plus Michael J Fox has Parkinsons disease and the whole cast are 30 years older. The future scenes were all 30 years in the future. So the cast should supposedly look now how they were portrayed to look then if that makes sense. No, leave it be IMO.
