Does anyone here rate the film in their top 5 of all time? For me it sits at number one. I have great memories of watching the film as a youngster. I promised myself that if ever the radio that Marty has beside his bed came up for sale on eBay, I would buy it. Well, this morning one appeared. A Panasonic RC-6015 in excellent condition. It shall be mine!

I'm actually really excited to get it, even though it's cost me a small fortune once you factor in postage and import fees.

I just need a 'Pepsi Free' can to go next to it now!!

I love the BTTF films, all three of them, and the first is one of my 'go to' movies when I need light entertainment and theres sod all on the box.

They were VERY well made in my opinion. Im not much of a memorabilia collector, but I did go on the Back to the Future ride at Universal Studios numerous times when I was last over there in 2002 :D

Loved BTTF films, mainly the first one but the second one was good. Third one was very different.

Never really got into them TBH.

Not in my top five but I do like them. When the first one was on at the cinema, I went back the next day to watch it again.

And a few months ago, TCM showed all three in a row and I watched them all.

Steve.

They're good fun films which I really like, but I obviously don't know the film well enough as I don't recognise that radio  :$

A friend at work went to an event the other day where the UK Delorean Club can an stand - it had me in stiches when he told me they arrived late :D

Another massive fan here! I hope you didn't miss the secret cinema Back to the Future showing last month! It was A-MAZING!! Can't tell the actors from the crowd.

I was absolutely gutted to have missed out on BttF ride in Universal Studios when I went there in 2012. Some signs were still there but they have taken down the ride to rebuild for something else. :(

I'm not a collectables person, but that clock sure looks great. Good luck with the purchase.

Best I did was when the re screen it for the 25 year anniversary in 2010. I was too young for it the first time around unfortunately.

Here's the scene from the film......

I am not usually a big collectable person, but since I was looking for a working alarm radio anyway for my new bedroom, I thought I would hold out until one of these became available. I still think I am a bit crazy paying so much for this exact model. I also missed the ride though as I was in Universal last year. :(

Also, here is a chap who has modified his radio to play exactly like the one in the film. I have been in contact with him but the modification is a little tricky and also permenant, rendering the normal alarm and radio functions inoperable. :( I think I shall just have to leave it standard.

I recently came across this BTTF DeLorean replica and being interested in both cars and the film I had a closer look

The detail was amazing, I assume all very close to the cars used in the film

And then when I got home I zoomed in a bit and found this

Which you can see in the first picture but I hadn't noticed it at the time.

I wonder if the owner ever drove it at 88 mph ? :D

I quite liked the films in their era,
but wouldn't rush anyway to watch them again.
(Like so many films of the time, I guess)

Could they actually reach 88 without falling to bits and vanishing in a cloud of dust (?white and Bolivian?!)

I recently went to the Secret Cinema BTTF and it was amazing. I wouldn't say it's one of my all time favourite films but I do like it. Yet the atmosphere & attention to detail made it simply incredible. One of those experiences that whilst costing you a lot of money, is something that you know will never be repeated.

That Delorean looks ace, but there's a few too many modern things in it for my taste. Pretty sure they didn't have Alpine radio and Tom Toms in 1985. :bang:

I often watch the first one in the trilogy. The other two are good but the first especially so IMO.

great purchase! I too was at the secret cinema a few weeks ago... incredible experience. BTTF1 is hands down in my top 10 films, if not top 5.

I'll bet that was awesome. My clock, whilst awesome, is still not here. :(

That clock is awesome!

Another massive fan here, though my pick of the three is number 2. Just the fact they go into the future , hover cars, boards, power laces, self fitting/drying jackets. Loved it! It was probably also because I missed the first at the cinema as I was too young. I still watch 1 & 2 regularly and 3 less so.

I have a few bits, two Sunstar 1/18 scale De loreans from part 2 and part 3. I also have the Mattel prop replica Hoverboard, that did not turn out to be very accurate, lol. I have a set of new more accurate decals on the way from a paper prop BTTF fanatic in Germany that will improve it a lot.

Make sure to post a shot when you get the clock.

Yeah the on the line reviews for the hoverboard aren't great. Would be a great prop to have knocking about, but the reviews put me off. Is it really that bad?

Its not really bad. What was promised and what was delivered was very different and Mattel fed a lot of BS to the customers to get the pre-orders.
When they did a YouTube vid of a preview they said it was "so not final" it would have better more accurate details and lenticular material.
That did not come to fruition and a lot of people were angry. I was disappointed when first pics started landing but though I would wait for my one to judge it.
When it came I was impressed and by going on what some people got, I got a good one as the decals on mine were applied very well unlike some.
It is heavy and looks good from a distance. I would not sell it as there is fat chance of another official Mattel made HB.
I do however thing it can be improved which is why I have ordered the upgrade kit, it brings the details to be more in line with the set used photo version of the board.
Apparently there were around 30 boards used and they all were different in some way even the martial they were made of.
Some has a light green velcro stripe on the top and others had a dark green printed line (line on the bottom).

Anyway here is a comparison of one of the screen used props, then the upgrade kit on the Mattel board and finally the way they shipped.

The white balance is a bit off but you get the idea.

Oohh, I will have a read of that later. I see what you mean with the hoverboard, the upgrade kit does make a big difference. There seems to be one for sale on Amazon US at the moment but I can't afford it. That clock wasn't cheap :( . :)

Maybe you can in the future ;)

This site used to make good replica's worth bookmarking in case they start making them again later on.

I would love one of these when/if it comes out but I bet it wont be cheap.

Or in the past!

That Mr. Fusion looks ace. What actually does it do? (I mean that one, I know what the one in the film does!) :)

I think it makes the opening noise. That is all.

I read on the RPF forum someone claimed it would be $299.00!!!

Great Scott!

Think I'd want it to actually be something or do something.

Yep, big fan of all three films.

There are a few nerdy errors, one being the Gibson ES 335 that Marty plays at the Fantasy Under The Sea ball in 1955. The 335 didn't exist until 1958 and the one that Marty plays is I think, an early 60's model.

You mean the Enchantment Under the Sea dance? :)

I would love one of these.

Think this is custom made
