AndyMc133 My52's 2011 updated Week 40 - 44

Hi Andy your candle in the wind shot was going to be my 2nd for wind but didnt get round to doing it. I am viewing on my phone and it looks good. A little tight on the crop maybe. I lile your evolutoion of the 2 planes.

Hi Andy

great shot for Wind....love the colors & the flame movement , exposure looks spot on as well...I've tried candles & was going to do similiar for my shot but couldn't have done as good a job as yours

Evolution...you sure like your aircraft  Beautiful detail in the spitfire & shows how far aviation has come in such a relatively short time

Hi Andy - I just love your "wind" pic. So simple but very striking and effective. Lighting, composition, DOF and sharpness all perfect. A bit too tightly cropped at the top - would have likes a little more space above the candle.

Great capture for "evolution". Another excellent shot.

Hi Andy

Finally getting time to comment on some other peoples shots.

Your wind shot is fab... great idea... Although I think i'd have gone for a little more dark space above the candle and cropped a bit away from the bottom of the shot. Prob putting the flame in the bottom third... or even breaking the rules and putting it in the centre.

I LOVE your plane shots... still now dying to see a Vulcan in flight... somewhere! and like this one too... bang on theme... and great clear capture!

all the plane pics excellent, and on theme I would say, especially if they are to you ;0)

bit of a grim rabbiting pic, poor bunny lol, but a cracking shot, and he looks like a great little dog, obviously loves his work

beautiful shot for broken

power is great

divided looks a bit lacking in colour / contrast to my mind, think the edit Tina popped in was good, VERY interesting story for theme, not surprised its got a strange feel!

twisted is great, having done a few guitar pics, I know how tricky it can be to get the angles right, nicely done

ah bless miner, thats a lovely pic, and he looks like a fab character, not surprised you all miss him, sooooooo hard losing pets, glad you got another one to fill that big gap

perfect for knowledge and big congrats to your step daughter, she looks thrilled, and deservedly so

Oh poor rabbit... pooo hooo hoo... who gives a sh!t! It's part of life they need culled or we would be over run! I kinda like macabre images... something quite shocking and thought provoking about them! Not that your image is that extreme!

I like the picture... It's almost like he is proud and guarding his prize. It may have benifited from a slightly lower viewpoint but all in all a great shot!

Good WORK!!!!

I left the other buttons in shot so you could recognise it as a sky remote a little easier but i tried to just keep the focus on the record button

I'm pleased with the result I recon the background looks like a water colour

It certainly has that feel to it ... it doesn't look like normal bokeh, it's much smoother.

Shame about the leaf bottom right, and perhaps a tiny bit more DoF would be my preference - but that's entirely subjective! :gag:

Hi, Andy, wow, work, quite a powerful photograph. He's not letting anyone near the rabbit....gggrrrr.

I like how the rabbit is framed between his legs....;)

Blur, nice and close. I'd like to see a tad more dof and pity about the lower
right, I'd like to see it without any petals.

Cheers.

WOW, that look's like an amazing building/clock.

Do you have any from face on? You've clipped the top, minor point.

Cheers.

This pic shows a bit more of the clock tower it is taken from outside the hotel we are booked to stay in and our room will overlook the tower. Will be great to have a better camera at hand this time as Prague is full of wonderful photo opertunities that my previous cameras we not up to.

You can go up the clock tower and it over looks the old square

andy, like your Time. That is a fascinating clock. As said though, shame you clipped the point, and maybe you could have brought the sides in .. a full frontal job would have been great... crowded scene though.

Andy. you love your planes don't you... i can hear the volume youwere aiming at...i like the way you were able to capture the red of the exhaust...

mix by the way. great detail in his coat...PP is great..mean and moody look... and Fun..i can see what you mean about Tess' eyes.. lol!!!

Wind - great way to express the sense of wind - nicely explosed
evolution - great imagery - like the shot a lot
record - a well used button it seems - i might have been tempted to photoshop out the small hair and dust spots
work - actually looks like he's resting ;) - good idea for the theme though - how about an action shot next time :)
blur - nice colours - composition does nt work for me - feel like the "space" should be on the other side of the flower
tme - wow amazing clock - sharp focus on it - nice spot
mix - great mono treatment works really well - maybe cropped a smidge too tight to his nose - he's pulling a great expression though - nice portrait
fun - haha - who says shots have to be technically perfect - this just works *** it conveys the moment - the fun is evident - good work
volume - awesome shot - would be proud of this one - maybe clone out the little bit of stray light bottom left to tidy the image up - but the colours and composition are spot on
