In stock but may require up to 2 additional days to deliver.
Dispatched from and sold by Amazon.co.uk.
Transaction complete without a hitch, confirmation email received.
It did say on the confirmation webpage "from Amazon EU Sàrl. Estimated shipping date 21 Oct 2011"
Hope the EU bit isnt a problem. I assume the estimated shipping date is the date they'll dispatch, rather than the expected delivery date?
Cheers guys!
I was just wondering, in case Tamron lenses have to be sourced from the UK for warranty purposes... There's a thread on here about a Sigma lens that was supposedly from Amazon's UK stock, but turned out to be an import (although whether that was from Europe or further afield, I can't remember...)
Yup, i was tempted by onestop/digitalrev etc, but in the end i thought better to be safe than sorry plus i wanted to help out the UK economy, but it looks like johnny foreigner got the loot anyways![]()

Best internet company out there as far as Im concerned, even when things have gone wrong, Amazon have put it right with full refund, Ive got nothing but good things to say about them
My Sigma 70-200 came from them and Sigma honoured the 3 year extended warranty.
If I'm buying new I always use amazon.
I bought this lens the other day from Amazon
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Nikon-55-200MM-4-5-6-VR-Black/dp/B000O161X0
At the time it was £145.00.
I was a bit concerned because it was quite cheap but have been really pleased with it. Arrived within 2 working days all in order![]()
Amazon have a subsidiary company in Jersey - I've often had product shipped from there.
The lens is made in China - no matter where you buy it.
Hi guys, im about to buy this lens from Amazon.
Here
I just want to confirm that i am buying from Amazon itself rather than a third parter vendor, and that i have the normal consumer rights as far as warranty and all that good stuff is concerned.
Am i good to go?
Cheers![]()
