Read that the Tamron struggles to focus in low light?
This is my mainstay lens......seems ok to me!

Stunning for the money I regret selling mine to Gary Coyle who in turn regrets selling it on too I believe
classy lens, superb IQ and built like a tank, AF is a little slow though but the images and range are superb
The Tamron 28-75mm is even better though
If youre happy that its not an f/2.8 lens and that you wont be shooting anything that needs lightning fast AF then its a no brainer, the 24-135 is probably the very best lens in its class, and for the price you wont go wrong, if you can find one, like rocking horse poo im afraidThanks but I feel the 4mm will help me a lot as I intend to use it for travel, every little (width) helps...![]()
