I would usually prefer colour too, but with a flat white sky and very poor light it seemed to work better in B+W.
 
That has a nice feel to it. Perfect for the theme. I also like the border effect.
 
Very nice for this week, I think the mono adds to being deserted too
 
Nice, I love the divergent leading lines. Makes for a more interesting image.

Good border to add character to the picture, and divergent lines lead me all round the scene
