Jeez there's some awful ads on TV at the mo
Here's some that make me feel queasy (rated by no of gags)
  • Anything by PC World! :gag:
  • That new Gillette razor one with the dad & son :gag: :gag:
  • The Argo Christmas Wish one :gag: :gag: :gag:

The Maltesers one, where she says "I don't feel very naughty at all".

Then flashes her self at that bloke.

Why do I hate it?

Because if it was a bloke dropping his trousers and flashing his todger at a passing woman there would be an outcry and shouts of "Pervert!".

There was a big argument about that wasn't there?
The "Now you see him, now you dont, now you see him" one.

IIRC it was technically the bikers fault, he overtook while the car was indicating or something like that.

Oh hang on, you mean the recent one don't you where the guy pulls out of a side street.
Yeah that's pretty shocking...Gets the message across though I think....and ow ow ow, it must hurt.
 
And then there`s the Debenhams one, Whoever thought that one up needs to find a new career.

Fortunately they aren't showing it any more... and the one above is a spoof. The original didn't have the train and truck in it. Shame really.

any shaving ad, all are unrealistic, if i whiped a razor down my cheek like those guys do i would end up in casualty
 
Any of those "no one will give you credit, we will", including the car leasing company adverts, ringtone adverts, and those cosmetic adverts with irritating people like Andie McDowell :bang:

There are many more but lets not spoil the tone ;)
 
The new Frosties one with the world's most irritating kids bouncing down the street singing "they're gonna taste great...":bang:
 
Yeah - and the one with I think it's Jane Fonda, who has so obviously had a face lift, saying that this face cream has kept her looking young :lol:
 
The one with the annoying brats who can't sleep because they are too excited at the prospect of going to Disneyland.

They should use the whole family as landfill.

I really don't get the corsa with the knitted dolls. What the heck are they selling?
 
I really hate that bit before Emmerdale, I think its their sponsor,, when that bloke looks in a full length mirror as side-on and pulls his stomach in and smiles............eeeuuuuurrrgh I actually put my hands over my eyes each time and cant watch it! :razz:
 
The adverts for computer training courses, when they tell you they will get you the qualifications and you too could earn the average IT salary of £30k++

I think you mean the ITV 'ident'. IIRC they started using it in January this year, and have only just changed their idents to wintery/autumn ones.
It got a bit annoying for me too.

I hate that Corsa ad too, I mean, knitted dolls shouting "C'Mon!" how is that advertising the car?
Infact I hate all car adverts. I think I would make a killing if I set up an ad agency and produced a car advert that said

"Right, this is suchandsuch a car, it's got this, it's got that, it does this it does that, and it costs such and such".....Why do they have to go all arty farty?
And Va Va Voom? I'll shove this Va Va Voom up your french jacksie in a minute, son, if you say that one more time.

For me, a good advert is one that's well thought out and is funny, intuitive and cleverly put together.

One of the best adverts IMO is the Blackcurrant Tango Ad...Watch it here

My pet hate is those copyright adverts before movies in the cinemas. It's so blatantly not true. The quality of the pirated DVDs are actually pretty good. :)

Of course I have to agree that the cinema experience is irreplaceable.
