Hi Guys,
As a newbie here and to photography in general Im looking for a bit of advice on my limited kit for an adventure trip across the arctic and Northern Norway.
My Equipment - Very limited and cheap... Canon 400D and a few various f/3.5-4.5 zoom lenses, tripod etcetc.
Im particularly interested and wanting advice on lenses and perhaps even settings I could use to photograph the Northern Lights. Im going in February but would love some advice on a few pieces of equipment in particular...
Sigma 30mm f/1.4 EX DC HSM
-and the-
Canon EF 28mm f/1.8 USM
Basically (as Im told) Im looking for a wide lens, but more importantly something that performs in low light for no more than £350-£400 (very tops)
Im lucky in that Im about to go out with professional Guide Kjetil Skogli (recently seen on Joanna Lumleys Northern Lights Doco) from Tromso - so I want to make the most of it!!
Thanks in Advance Guys!
