I have a set of runes that my friends bought me for Christmas, but I havent really had them out much. So I decided to pick one at random and photograph it. It should be on its side...however...here is the meaning of the rune...
Perthro: (P: Lot cup, vagina.) Uncertain meaning, a secret matter, a mystery, hidden things and occult abilities. Initiation, knowledge of one's destiny, knowledge of future matters, determining the future or your path. Pertaining to things feminine, feminine mysteries including female fertility, and vagina. Good lot, fellowship and joy. Evolutionary change.

If I was pregnant there'd be something wrong! The NHS would have some explaining to do!If I was pregnant there'd be something wrong! The NHS would have some explaining to do!
I found Dell in the bushes at the back of the house and sent her home, she was trying to get me to say, "In 200yards turn left" in my Norn Iron accent.![]()
Just been catching up...there is a consistency in the level of your work...it is all bloomin' awesomeA lot of dedication so far...do you feel like you have improved through doing this project?
I'm shooting higher ISO with the D300 and not being scared of using flash and stuff. I'm learning as I go along so therefore I will probably see a definate improvement in the shots along the year. I am only 75 days in!
" and it can be hard to 'see' in the same way, but results can be interesting & worthwhile
Don't forget Del is relatively new to 'proper' photography, though has had fun with the artistry for quite a while (even if only with camera-phones)
So she's going through a developmental process where the technique is allowing her art to flourish as she comes more to terms with the mechanics of photography. She's a bit of a kid at the moment playing with the new 'toy' to see what it does, then applying what's discovered into a new shot or type of shot - she's learning and having fun, and by having fun she's learning too
When we're out on pure fun photography trips, she's one of the few others that's good to watch and hang close to, sometimes you think "What the Hell are you doing?" and it can be hard to 'see' in the same way, but results can be interesting & worthwhile
Us 'oldies' (the sensible ones anyway) like to work with newbies as it can help us stay fresh - seeing through a new pair of eyes as it were
Love the tulip stalks btw, and while I like the beads I would have preferred the light source to be off to one side

so was just bouncing around until I got what I liked. What a great bunch of shots, Particularly like the isolation of day 71.![]()
I nice range of shots these last few days.
The necklace/bokeh one is particularly appealing to me anyway, its extremely effective.
I also love that one of Teigan, I like the crop and composition, such a great portrait, I wish I could do portraiture like that. What equipment do you use?
I like the abstract leaves one too.
