I once hit the magic 140mph in my Lexus, but it was probably only 130+ really, so nothing like as bad ;)

Not quite sure the current Polo would match that though :D

I like to think I keep her 'grounded' - her work gets far too many 'WOW' 'Great' etc. comments on here, which is no good for a woman ;) - she needs hard crit to come on faster - I like to think I give it

She's gonna be good (but don't let her know I said that), just needs to keep on her toes this year then watch out for her work next year :thumbs:

Some great pics in here Dell. I bought one of those led duck keyrings for a mate who is quackers (;)) but I bought it in San Francisco, so it's not much help anyway. Still have the Piggy version here, which oinks when it's snout lights up :lol:

Ok...So cheated. This is actually taken from yesterday, but it has been a big part in todays discussion. I did these as a couple of test shots for my friend Kim who makes her own jewellery and sells most of it on Ebay.
We wanted to see if we could capture the colours that this bracelet gave off.
She's happy with the photographs. I am going to try give some different backgrounds a try later.​
 
I like the jewellery shot a lot..really nice as an abstract! Sorry to hear about your friend, I hope he/she is ok :)

Thanks guys, the girl loved the jewellery shot, so I'm gonna do a couple more bits for her to see if they're any good! :lol:

Yeah friend is feeling a little better. Its what you get when you stop taking your perscribed medication when you still need it :nono::nono: silly girl!

I ended up at the pub quiz tonight, and ended up taking over the team-sheet for out team. Its not my handwriting but I thought what better than to show what I got upto tonight, by how bad we did at the quiz!

I dont normally go to the quiz, my friend is the quiz master. But being all out of sorts from helping my friend and in the end not taking my meds....I needed to be out of the house as much as possible! Still it was a good laugh!​

Thursday evening and an Ice Hockey Match. We lost 3-2 :( but it was still an enjoyable evening.

I must take my proper camera with me! I must I must! This was taken with my camera phone during warm-up. And I have a good enough seat, to hopefully get some good shots!​
 
All these people getting new cameras, I'm trying so hard to resist :)

Anyway, nice bit of kit, as I told Dave K, My sister has one, only had a little play, made my 350D feel like a compact, looking forward to the results

I borrowed some money from the bank of Granddad ;) Paid off all current debts/loan and just owe it back to him now. Paying back at £100 a month. The camera has gone on CC ;) and the car isnt brand new, its a 55 plate and I did part x my car :lol:

I got my pentax on the finance from jessops.
They dont tell you in store, but you used to be able to get a payment book if you phoned up the finance company [used to be clysedale finance but it was taken over by barclaycard] they charge you £20 but thats an admin fee etc and you can pay at banks/postoffice IIRC and it allows you to pay off in "installments" :)
