Unfortunately the church isn't tolerant.
Actually, it is five stops, I forgot that you had used ISO 200 film and not 400.
f/2.8 to f/2 gets you one additional stop and then replacing your ISO 200 film with Portra 400 pushed to 3200 gets you another four from what you had originally.
Anyway as my son and partner are digital guys they would laugh at grainy colour shots of their daughter (my grandaughter)But they all like my flash shots in restaurants etc with Reala 100 ISO.
