Hehe, was messing around and applied a colour negative curves layer, I love it in a mad way, Rescue Dawn and City of God looks almost 3D like to my eyes

shoe shot!!!! (make it artistic though)

*cough* Beer *cough*

Only have nasty Bud in the house and can't take 2 pictures of Bud in less than a week :gag:

Thanks fletch, will remember for the next time I have a total lack of inspiration, that will be tomorrow then ;)

Great shots - is "The Lives of Others" the film about the Stasi spying in East Germany? If it is it is a great film (I have only seen it in German "Das Leben *** Anderen")

And I really like the book shot - good luck!

I know wall-e, my kids love it! Not even heard of the rest but thats nothing new to me I like the bright colour to it.

The book looks like something my oh would read, blooming confusing stuff to me!

Thanks Lisa :)

What language is that in Julian

It's VB.Net, I'm a C# man really, but new company uses VB.

Thanks nic, read very good reports of 'The Lives of Others' looking forward to it ;)

I wrote some of the Woolworths back-office stuff in VB5 around 5 years ago (for all the POS ordering / fault reporting etc), but have never touched the .net stuff

I keep thinking about having a go with it for the works databasing / job issue stuff rather than the system i wrote in VBA (excel) and have it as a stand alone app.

Damn, I've just done a narrow DOF shot too...
I'm not copying, honest.

Thanks Dave, yeah the hat cracks me up, will have to show my girls the pic in the morning, 'silly daddy' :D

Brilliant!
Think that excuses you from todays self portrait requirements and raises the bar for myself and JD.

9th July: A Porchester slipway at low tide.

Earliest shot I've taken on my 365 just before arriving at work

Thanks Lisa, didn't get stuck, good job as I would have stunk the office out for the day ;)

July 10th: Another early morning shot today, just for a change decided on some different processing. Channel mixer layer for mono conversion, then backed off the opacity, added a saturation layer and boosted the saturation, finally Noiseware filter to smooth out the noise generated. So it's probably not to everyone's taste, but nice to try some different effects ;)
