A Picture a day (My 365) . . . Made it to the End!

Thanks for all the comments folks, really trying to stay with it ;)

1st July: Edge of the Wood

Spent far to long searching for inspiration for a shot. Just walked out into the woods (still with the 90mm macro lens on from yesterday) and grabbed this shot looking towards the setting sun. channels and cross processing adjustment in Photoshop.

Thanks Dave. 'Desperate' does not even begin to describe how this week is going, but there is just enough interest in this shot.

Just catching up, love the prawn, the daleks and that mono shot of people jumping into the sea.

I cant see the pic for 1st july?

Saying that i cant see any of your shots in this thread anymore?

Hmm strange, they are all visible, maybe there was an issue with Smugmug (where my images are hosted), when you looked before:shrug:

2nd July: My lack of inspiration continues.....

Looking around the kitchen for shots to take with the Macro lens, I ended up with this small glass of water with red food colouring and washing-up liquid, used a straw to blow some bubbles and then positioned the tripod over the top with some off camera flash to left. Cloned out the logo at the bottom of the glass in Photoshop.

I love it Julian!!

I've become resigned to the fact that every day won't be a good shot, heck that's what makes a 365, the mad rush about the house after work, tearing your hair out trying to think of something to photograph. And you do it soo well!! :D

Still cant see anything, just blank spaces where the pics should be. I know there was a prob like this with flickr the other week but only certain people couldnt see them and others could

3rd July: Selective coloured cross processed mono converted palette knife filter applied beer, phew, time for a drink (shame it's duf beer) :-)

A JD inspired photo!

A lot of processing went into that image and the spot colouring works well.

Fancy sending some over - I need one or two tonight (see my 365 for reasons!)

Really like the lack of inspiration shot, it's inspired :D
Seems many of us 365ers are turning to beer,

Hi, thought I'd catch up on this thread!
I do love what you have done so far, I think it's well worth hanging on in there and giving it your best shot. However, at the same time I want to say congratulations on you getting a new job. :)

4th July: Shalfest 09 - Shalbourne (a little village in Wiltshire) beer and music festival.

No DSLR today, only the little Ixus compact (as there was some serious ale to taste), so just a quick shot of my lovely pint of Moondance being poured. Other lovely ales tasted were Summer Lightning, Crop Circle and Butts Organic (Didn't try the Pressed rat & warthog). Great day out with friends and family :)

Thanks Dave/Lisa, was great, the ale was first rate, have alist of what I drunk so I can place some orders

5th July: Professional street entertainer at Winchester Hatfair weekend http://www.hatfair.co.uk. Not sure if his expression is part of the act or as a result of the uncomfortable position his twig and berries are in :naughty:

Thanks Lisa ;)

Know what you mean Chirs, I've not had 7 pints in a day since before my eldest was born, nearly 4 years ago. I had no hangover in the morning either, so I put it down to some good ale ;)
