5 for me too. No ys!

xgxxx, xgxxx, ggxxx, gggxx and only one possibility that I could see for the ggggg.

5 today 2Y, 1G 1Y, 1G 1Y, after which I could only come up with a few words and this time I didn't choose the right one first 3G, 5G.

Easy. I always start with '-----' followed by '-----' and that usually gives me enough to guess it on the third or fourth attempt. Today -----/----- gave me all the letters, one of them in the right place, it did not take a few seconds to work out a five letter anagram.

MOD EDIT :- As per title 'No spoilers please'.

FAIL today. Ran out of road with two more words to try :)

Easy. I always start with '*****' followed by '*****' and that usually gives me enough to guess it on the third or fourth attempt. Today *****/***** gave me all the letters, one of them in the right place, it did not take a few seconds to work out a five letter anagram.

A bit spoilerish...

5 for me today.
xxxyy, xgyxx, yxxxx (fresh starter), yyyxx (mostly fresh starter!) finally gave me the complete anagram and I could only see one possibility.

↑ Agree just glad I normally do it before coming on.
3 today, after an average start of 1G 1Y, 1G 2Y, I was struggling to come up with a word to fit in fact I could only come up with one 5G.

Oh, sorry, I thought the spoiler thing was in reference to the answers rather than how I go about finding them. I always use the same starting words without exception as they use ten different letters and it's rare not to get at least two of the Wordle letters, sometimes in the right place. Again, apologies.

I think you’re missing the point that having declared your two lines and results you are giving away much of the answer. I too was guilty of this for a long time since I’d posted about always using the same start word so it could spoil it for anybody who remembered what it was when I later “advertised” my results as OOXXO or whatever :(.

A surprising 3 for me.

xxgxx didn't change with guess 2 but my next guess proved a good'un!
