A bit of fun - WORDLE. (NB, US spelling!) No spoilers please

Messy 5 today, I think it was the only remaiing possible by the time I got there.
 
4 for me, slightly bemusingly! An xxyxx didn't change much to a yxxxx bud did eliminate 4 more letters. The xyxyx helped me decide where the ys probably went and from there, given what I had left to play with, I could only see one solution.
 
3 today after a not to auspicious start of 1Y, 1Y, and then an inspired guess gave me 5G.

5 for me. xxxyx, xyyxg, xgxyg, ggxxg and solved.
 
Messy 5 today. I feel I should have chosen that word at 4.

You’re on the right track with non-Anglo Saxon origin but that leaves a rather wide field! Josh Wardle could help.
 
A bit of a struggle today just couldn't find a consonant and was struggling to make words from what was left, a 5 in the end 1G 1Y, 2G, 2G, 2G, 5G.

A lucky 2 for me. A pretty good starter came to me in the shower and gave me gxyxx them a few seconds of pondering saw the 5 greens appear.
 
A nice straight forward 3 today each word after my regular starter was the first one that came to mind 1G, 2G, 5G.
 
WORDLEBOT says I was lucky with my starter today but it didn’t feel that way :( with XXXOX then XXXOX XBBOX so OOOOO and 4 today.
