A bit of fun - WORDLE. (NB, US spelling!) No spoilers please

Somewhat surprising 3 today. XXXBB XXBBB OOOOO. Just a lucky guess I thought but actually SCOREDLE says there were 13 possibles but only 5 of those are words I recognise.
 
3 for me too. xgxxg stayed the same for guess 2 but that did eliminate the most obvious letters. Lucky guess 3 saw the other 3gs drop into place.
 
3 today. Unpromising XXXXO then XBXBO left very few possibles so OOOOO.
 
5 for me. xxxxg for the first 2 guesses then added a y to give me xxyxg. Went for a slightly odd word as a 4th guess which gave me yxyxx so had another juggle with the ys which ended up with the solution.
 
Owing to the MiL having a fall and being told it would be several hours wait for an ambulance, I find myself up at well past my usual bedtime so have tackled it while I'm waiting to hear what's going on...

3! xxxxy turned into yxxgx (same y, different end!) not sure where the inspiration came from but the solution came from somewhere!

So do I! Picked Mrs Nod up from A&E at 06:30 and took her to work then home for brekkie at 08:30 then back to A&E at 09:30. No news so just waiting by the phone. There's no way she (MiL) should be sent home and equally no way we could deal with her here (stairs) so hoping she gets kept in for a day or 2 obs.. However, I expect we'll get a call saying she's outside waiting for us!

Sorry to the OP for the hijack! :P ;)
 
The roll gets better a 2 today 1G, 5G. I'll enjoy it while it lasts and just wait for the bubble to burst.

Ta to all for the hopes. The OT is apparently a star and told the powers that be that unless they could provide immediate overnight carers for the next couple of nights, he wouldn't sign her off so she has a bed for the next couple of days before they review the situation. By that time, she'll have some confidence back and not be in (morphine level) pain. At least I managed a couple of hours of kip last night - Mrs Nod is running on adrenaline still! Just about to take her to the hospital for an hour then we can relax and not worry for at least one night!
