A bit of fun - WORDLE. (NB, US spelling!) No spoilers please

A today and only because I had ruled out so many letters by my fourth guess that there wasn't much left and even then it was a flip of a coin on my last guess.
1Y, 1Y, 2G, 2G, 4G, 5G.
 
4 for me. g, gg. ggg. ggggg.
 
5 today. SCORDLE gives 2 words at 4th but I’ve never seen the other one (Edit: and it’s not valid in scrabble):

3 for me. y, gg (new word so still had the y somewhere!), ggggg.
 
Simple 3 today!

Yesterday at line 4 when I guessed FLOUT, SCORDLE said I had 2 possibles the other being PLOUT! Apparently PLOUT is a valid word as I tried it in a fresh copy of WORDLE :(
 
A 5 today ... after turn 3 it was down to 2 options and as ever at 50/50 I made the wrong choice :headbang:

Perhaps I should phone a friend :p

4 today, 1Y, 2Y, 3G, after which I could think of at least half a dozen words that would fit but a lucky guess gave me 5G.
 
4 today 3Y, 3Y, 4Y and after some head scratching, I could only think of one word to fit and luckily it wasn't some weird word I had never heard off 5G.
 
4 for me. Total blank with guess 1, gyy with 2, gggy (so effectively 4gs) with 3 leaving only one option (since the 4gs were the first 4 letters, I'm not sure there is an alternative!)
