5 today. It was a thinker...
 
Phew, didn't think I was going to do it today but just managed with the last guess :thumbs:
 
5 for me today ... 2 letters in the wrong place on guesses 1 and 2

1 of the 2 letters in the right place in guess 3 (nothing else.) :(

Both letters in the right place guess 4 (still nothing else!) having eliminated 15 letters! :runaway:
All correct on guess 5 phew! :banana:

5 today and it had me stumped for ages after my 4th guess. Silly thing is that I was talking to a golf buddy about one earlier today!!!

first guess; 3 letters, 2 in the right place, one in the wrong spot, second guess only improved it to telling me what it began with - which stumped me even more!! Spent about 10 mins wrecking my brain over possibles, there wasn't many so got it in the end
 
Crikey, I guessed three letters on the first attempt, but I struggled to complete the puzzle from then on :(

3 for me today! Only 1 green to start then 1 green, 2 yellows followed by a dash of good fortune!
 
3 for me too, 2 yellows first line, yellow and 2 green 2nd attempt and that narrowed it down significantly.

3rd guess, 1 green, 2 grey.

Guess 1 gave me 2 in the wrong places.

Guess 2 gave me one in the right place, plus one from guess 1, and the other from guess 1 still in the wrong place but could only go in one place for guess 3 which was very helpful! :)
 
Another 3 here, again got lucky with my initial pick, gave me 3 letters, 2 greens.

777 record now :)
