Appropriately simple 3 today. Only 1 obvious choice after my second, though SCOREDLE says there are 3 others, mostly Indian.

A 4 for me today 1G 1Y, 1G 1Y, 2G, 2Y, 5G. A very topical choice.

3 for me. gy, ggy, solve. The (same) y HAD to go in a particular place so effectively 3gs and with them being the middle 3 letters, I could only think of one possibility.

Easy 3 today with lucky first two rows and luck oOn 3rd where there were at least 3 possibles with different last letter: XOBXB—XOOOB—OOOOO

A very lucky 3rd guess got me the solve. y on the first try with yy on the second (completely new) word saw me make a total but correct guess! Like a lucky chip in from off the green!!!

3 for me today 2Y, 1G 2Y loads of words that would fit but an inspired guess gave me 5G.

4 today, nearly a 2 but could have been a 7 since there were so many choices for 4th letter.

4 for me. y, ygg, yyyy (same 4 as Richard) then guessed correctly. I had used at least 4 of the possibilities for the 4th letter in earlier guesses so only had one option (I think!)

Edit to correct a bit of total f***wittery! That should be gggg rather than yyyy!

A today could have been anything from a two to a fail after my first initial guess, so I suppose it's a win. 2G 1Y which was as good as 4G but just so many options for that last letter 4G, 4G, 4G, 4G, 5G.
