Squiffed indded - I uploaded the wrong one!
fixed it when I saw your comment.
Thanks![]()
I think this is another super shot. Good exposure on the pole and i really like the timing with the wires connected to the pole with the cloud.
Spot on, Sir
Hi Brian
I like it, my kind of angle, nice touch including its reference number, the only crit i could give is the pole could be a bit more detailed, I am sure you could bring it out a touch more in PP.
There is one thing I am disappointed about, there are no cows or cheese, how did you miss that connection![]()
Damon that was quick, nice idea well executed

, this didn't grab me much on first look.... the central pole but not central numbers, no wires starting in a corner... pole slightly dark (for me anyway), but after I'd spent time looking for why it didn't grab me I realised I'd been looking around it for quite a while - so it obviously did grab me.
Morniing Brian - left yourself nowt to do for the rest of the week again!!

Always being drawn back to the top of the pole.
Well on theme, the cloud atop the pole as a nod to the "cloud" based communication / connections of the modern age?? Juxtaposed with the traditional wire based connections.
Nice one matey.
(Image not showing in either thread though - although it does click through).
Very nice idea Brian, very tough to crit, all for me is the letters not central, but that's being mega picky, lovely angle, great sky too![]()

Maybe lining up the letters centrally would help but then that would throw the wires out.

next time stand directly under the numbers & letters![]()

You've taken a simple object and taken an interesting perspective on it
I am not sure the symmetry that others have mentioned is achieveableMaybe lining up the letters centrally would help but then that would throw the wires out.
I think i will settle for the quirkiness of it and ignore my inner OCD
Thats all a ramble with no particular crit
It works in its simplicity, I will leave it at that!

Hi Brian
Connection - simple and effective. Good angle and a complementary sky . I take your points about the non regularity of parts of the shot and trust your judgement. Just a little dark on the pole on my monitor.
Errr And it is Wednesday and no @Beginning@. Are you sick??![]()
I like that a lot. It's so simple and sparse, but works so well. Central composition works well, and the depth of colour in the sky punctuated with the scattering of clouds is great. Can't help but follow the pole up to the sky.
Great shot and you ninja'd my last idea!
Really like the connection image.. All the wires in different directions keeps the eyes busy.. The numbers on the pole really help.. Nice one. Thumbs

perhaps I should do it at Halloween?Hi Brian
its a fun image as others have said, but I am afraid it does nothing for me the lighting and sharpness are good but :shake: sorry
(Like the processing though).
