(even if people try tempting me with their shiny 50d's and 5d MKii's)
I want to look at getting a 24-70 f2.8L and a 70-200 f2.8L....
Dont tempt me again! i have some more images i could post!![]()
I have both of those for my newly acquired 40D, and they are sublime.
Don't make better pictures, but they make the poor pictures look better![]()

I've not regretted buying either of them.Simmotino, If they as good as my siggy and tamron, but with faster focusing and increase the shots-to-missed shots like i think they will then they will be worth the extra investment. I think ill keep my eyes out here for used ones as of next year after my wedding![]()

Well, apart from the time I got a sore hand because I was stroking them too much, but that's another story......
Same here, although I have kept the 400D as a spare body and have a lens attached to it when I'm at events so I have all bases covered!
Would recommend stepping from the 400D to either the 40/50D and getting used to a lot more freedom and playing around with Custom Functions before making the step up to Full Frame
