Daily 365 Photos 2013.

what a lovely shot of you both :D

Oh thats fab and well done on the tripod - I'm still using a lightstand!

Ah thanks guys! It was *so* much easier with a tripod! Until now, I've been using whatever I can find around the house... such as a stool balanced on a side table with 2 small boxes balanced on top of that...

I had no idea what to take a photo of today. Literally not a clue. I tried with a ton of stuff but nothing was making me feel any less than ":gag:". Then when I'd put my camera down and given up, getting ready to upload a filler shot.. he jumped on the sofa and passed out like this :D I couldn't help taking a photo and here it is :)

Oh! And my mum's bought me a 1tb external hard drive :D

Thanks Carol! He does eventually, once he's in a deep sleep and super relaxed he slides off

Some crackers since my last visit again you're maintaining such a high standard   the flowers are wonderful  and todays  great photo though he does look very stretched out almost lifeless in that photo

Thanks Matt! Now I've looked again, he does look a bit lifeless doesn't he?  that's Oscar for you! He is a pretty long, thin kitten. And still just 4 months old! It was also taken with my Fuji x100 on macro pretty close to his head :p

Awwww now that's cute Toni!!... love the pp too:thumbs:

Lol, im going out tonight for the 3rd night in a row, not bad for an almost 40 year old!
I have missed your last 4 somehow Toni, sorry. As usual they are all at a very high standard. The mono of you and husband is great, as was the shot of you with camera. Im loving your tattoos more all the time, having never really being a fan of them before. Andnthe cat shot really made me smile, he looks so relaxed.
And todays, I could never get away with a bow tie like that, he is one cool guy!

two more lovely shots of you and OH Toni  Looking forward to the mini challenge :D

It was suuuuper quiet in my thread but that's to be expected; there's not a lot you can really comment on with my photos recently

But yes... not hard to achieve with me either!

Thank you :D

Lucky you Phil! Can I borrow your friends for a while so I can see what this "social life" malarky is!?

Thank you very much! I detest my chest tattoo but it's okay; that's being covered up very very soon ;)

two more lovely shots of you and OH Toni  Looking forward to the mini challenge :D

Thank you Carol :D

Two more wonderful photo Toni, love the processing

Thanks Matt! Glad you like them :D

I do worry this challenge might prove boring for everyone else. Like I said to T, there's not really a whole lot to comment... but that's okay :D

Today's? Eh. Not happy with today's photo very much. I wanted a straight line of focus and I think that's worked well, I'm just not too sure about... everything else. I don't know if it's because I spent so long looking at it... I hadn't been to bed in a long while and, whilst editing, my fingers weren't working properly so processing it took a lot longer than it would have and should have. Or if it just sucks

This is shaping up to be a lovely sub-project, Toni!

Utter Tosh Toni ..... (thought i best put that and not what i wanted to say lol)

Firstly your portraits are beautiful and PLENTY to comment on.... you are being way to hard on yourself..... honestly it really has been quite this weekend........ which is pants because it does seem like peep have a social life! lol.... damn the buggers!

Todays.... seriously.... i really really love it... processing is gorgeous, but then i like your style of processing on all your shots....

keep up with the mini challenge... i for one can't wait to see more:thumbs::thumbs:

Like the last few comments, dont be so hard on yourself Toni. Todays is another really nice one.

Ah thanks guys :) I always suffer in the confidence department  but it is getting better. Thanks again, it means a lot :D

Just catching up - had a house guest for a couple of days and I've got soooo behind. You and your DH are just soo photogenic  Today's is absolutely fantastic - you are the complete queen of these lovely dreamy shots. You have an uncanny ability to make every day look like a sun shiny day.

Ahh thank you Sarah! That's really love of you to say :D :D Today was *very* grey and peeing it down

Hi Toni, catching up again....

Great shot of the shoes and the processing certainly goes with the feel of a vintage emporium, and love the retro cameras shot, again the processing works so well with it.

Love both selfies on Day 34, the mono just edges it for me, but both great shots.

Those eyes on the Pixie shot scared the hell out of me :D:D a cracking shot though nonetheless.

The selfie on Day 37 is just perfect. I hope you've got that on a wall somewhere as it's just exquisite .

Loving the shot of Oscar.....lol....that's how I've been feeling over the last few days, working while fighting man flu ;).

Your last 3 portrait shots are just amazing too. The way you process them is amazing and today's, for me is the best out of the last 3

Wow, thank you very much!

Some cracking shots Toni, you portraits and self portraits are really good. But I love that shot of the sleeping kitten. That would make a great greetings card.

Thanks Sarah :D Oscar's a funny little thing!

From the blog: It's a really beautiful day today... to look at! The sun is out and the sky is blue with gorgeous, thick, fluffy clouds. But it's still as cold as sin!

The wind was also wreaking havoc as is evident in today's photo! Just as the last second of the time counted down, we got a gust of wind and up went my dress, petticoat and all! "That's it," I thought. "Instant retake!" But then I looked at the LCD and... it worked! I thought it looked great.

So here it is.

Day 42. by Toni Darling Photos, on Flickr

Haven't been around in a while, so sorry for the complete lack of feedback. It might sound lazy... but I love all of your people shots . I seem to say the same thing every time I drop by your thread.

If I was pressured into picking 2, I love day 39 and 40. Both work really well! Like the composition in both of them.

Woah, what a moment I pick to post! That last one is excellent too! I'll cast my fears of sounding like a big girls blouse aside for a second... but I love how you bring a softness and gentleness to photos when I shouldn't expect it. I love the position of your hand would you believe! Also, blokes aren't usually very keen on being part of... how should I say... "romantic" photographs... but your hubby seems quite comfortable with it. Fair play to him, I have a problem with my other half co-operating with shots like this... well, when I say having a problem with her co-operating I really mean point blank refusal! And you'd imagine it was easier to get a girl to take part in this type of shot.... but no

Also, you've given me an idea for one of my film shots... I have one lowly tattoo I reckon I'll squeeze a shot out of it. (I would have more only for years ago when I first met my other half I was "asked" not to get anymore )

Love this last one Toni - you are such a beautiful and photogenic couple - what a happy accident with the wind it brings the tone of his bow tie out so well.

Thank you! I'm lucky that my husband generally just does what I say    he loves the photos so puts up with the process. Secretly, I think he rather enjoys himself ;)

Ah thank you! :D :D

I LOVE today's shot - you and hubby are just so 'together' in what you do and it works so well. This is a really beautiful one!

I keep thinking of your story and imagining the photo opening up a bit so I can see you guys in a public park with your,er, undergarments exposed for all to see!!!!:lol::lol:

Actually works a treat with the net skirt where it is. Another great shot Toni.

I thought so too! I'm not sure why but it works! Thank you :)
