Daily 365 Photos 2013.

Thanks! :D Milo's a bit special; he's not very well :(

I have 2 Sphynx, 2 moggies and a hedgehog

Ah, they don't hibernate! She's an African Pygmy :D

Meet Sunny!

Sunny is so sweet, what a cheeky little face.

I like the photos of the cats too. Fantastic looking creatures. Quirky inn the way that Devon Rexes are (have you ever seen any of Suzanne Le Good's paintings? http://www.suzannelegoodcats.com/gallery/Album6.htm They really bring out the strange beauty of these unusual cats. It's amazing how many wrinkles are hidden under their fur. And I love the big ears of the Sphynx. Sadly, I've yet to touch one... your photo makes it look like they feel like skin. Do they?

haha thanks guys!! :D

Lynn, those paintings are gorgeous! The average Sphynx feels quite a bit like a really warm peach because they're not actually totally hairless. Pixie feels like that. Milo, however, feels almost identical to skin... but different. Haha! If our skin was thinner and looser, I imagine it'd feel how Milo does :)

My new lens (tamron 17-50mm f/2.8) arrived around 10:40... I think I might have my POTD already :D

Haha thank you Matt!

Argh, late to upload! Well firstly I just want to share photos of my pretty new addition. I am in love. The sharpness in comparison to my 50mm 1.8 is amazing!

And now for my POTD. Another one for the personal project. This time, a detail shot! These were my wedding shoes and the vase with faux flowers was part of the decor; red and blue were our colours :)

Day 46. by Toni Darling Photos, on Flickr

I'm sorry I haven't posted in your thread! I'm dead on my feet and heading to bed now :( I'll leave you love in the morning!

Those shoes are cute!!!!!!!.... love this one Toni and the processing makes it even more gorgeous....

37 & 46 are the pick of the recent ones posted since my last visit.
I would maybe crop some off the top in 37 though to keep the viewers eyes in the shot.
Oh I used to have a tamron 17-55 it was uber sharp...have fun with the lens...

Some great additions to your 365, Toni - I seem to have had trouble keeping up with everyone's this week! Your phone is fantastic - I want one! I also agree that you do NEED that radio! ;)

I love seeing the photos of your cats and that recent one is a cracker, it's like he's staring at you with his eyes closed! The hedgehog is very cute and looks like she's a bit cheeky as well and I really like your shoes and flowers :)

Thanks! Just had to look back to see which photo #37 is and I agree with you; a tighter crop on the top would work better!

Thanks Sam :D I've posted the radio on my facebook... I'm hoping someone takes the bait but I doubt it :p

Another cat! I couldn't resist :) I'm not convinced I like this one (the photo, not the cat! Although he is a little horror)

another set of brilliant shots since I was last in Toni - Loving the hedgehog - cute is not the word for her :D and love the cat shot for today - think it is lovely :)

I actually really like this. He is such a poser, I'm sure he knows you are taking his photo

i really like todays and feel it is well composed - we kind of see the cat looking out AND the view outside the window so it's a winner for me!

Thank you :D Pixie was sitting there initially.. I'd gone out to take the photo and when I got to the window, he spotted me, jumped out the cat tree and pushed her out the way to sit there

Haha thanks! The view out there isn't much to write home about

I knew it :D

Toni just been catching up and you have some awesome new shots! love the hedgehog, the phone and the flowers and shoes

The mono cat shot is ace i really like that!!

Thanks guys!! :D

Back at my mum's and again, the photos look pixelated on her screen... I don't get it!

Great mono shot of the cat. Great composition on the shoes shot, love the look of that shot too, and that lens looks really good too

Todat's shot is cool, next time make him wear face mask and snorkel :D

Nope, I'd say that the castle looks pretty damn good. Not overcooked at all, although there is something funny going on around the bit of the castle that is coming down the hill, against the sky.

Haha! We pass that wall every Sunday so I just might ;)

Yeah, I noticed that... looks like some haloing? It's the first time I've even used the software (I have no idea where it came from... just noticed it today!) and didn't want to mess about too much in case I killed it

Oh...nice new toy  love the cat in the window  and another good portrait....you've certainly not over cooked the processing on the castle, but I'm really not sold on the composition

Thanks Matt :) Me either but it's the best I could get from where I was (and my bus was sitting at the stop, husband screaming at me to get on as I was taking it haha); there's a massive fence I was shooting through and pointing it more left resulted in the castle being covered by trees. To the right and I'd have been shooting directly into the sun. I feel everything's leaning to the left slightly too?

Another great portrait shot Toni, to me there seems a sense of the film Trainspotting look to it, lol no idea why but that's what came to mind when I first saw it. Like the castle shot too, just a shame about the haloing.
