Day 18. by Toni Darling Photos, on Flickr

My imagination is starting to flag...

Hah! Excellent! Sometimes I love the type of shots people produce when they are running out of imagination! My fridge shot came from that.

I love this one though, especially your eyes. Awesome expression!

Thanks both of you! :D

Conor, I remember your fridge shot... I done one a long time ago. No where near as good as yours but it was fun!

edit: here it is  2 years ago

 That is very good Toni, like the negative space - you have beautiful coloured eyes

Thanks! They change... they're more often a greeny colour. But they can be green, blue or grey at any given moment

Love it and the fact that your eyes match your hair :D Great shot

I like your table-runner abstract - strong, vibrant colours and I would have gone insane trying to get it 'right'! :D

Today's is really good....once again, I was scrolling down and got completely caught out! :)

Thanks Carol! The dye job matching was totally unintentional haha! It doesn't match the majority of the time sadly (my eyes are green most of the time)

Very nice indeed Toni !!!

Thanks Vince!

Thank you!

That's a really fun shot - like it!

Thanks! The original file was my full face... and was deleted as soon as I got the edit I wanted; it was scary! Unfortunately I still have the RAW file

I think that it works really well  I love the expression in your eyes

Thanks Matt

Hah!! That's excellent! Love how you're devouring the milk in the second shot

:D thank you! If I remember correctly, the lid was still on

Catching up here Toni, love the pig head, it's like an alabaster bust, and the two self portraits are great, the diptych really works for me and the peek a boo is inspired, great work

Thanks Colin! :D

Day 19. by Toni Darling Photos, on Flickr

I'd set out to take the photo below and grabbed this one on the way back inside; I prefer it! So the photo below becomes todays 365 outtake. It was bloody cold!!

Brr. by Toni Darling Photos, on Flickr

Love them both :D But have decided you are nearly as mad as Mr H!!! Lying in the snow?? madness

Haha thank you! It doesn't look so bad there... but what the photo doesn't tell you is that this was my 4th attempt at getting decent focus with no remote (I still struggle with selfies) so I had to get up and down and up and down and, when I lie down, my jacket would rise up exposing my bare stomach!!

MAD!!!! wouldnt lay down in the snow for anyone

Hahah it wasn't so bad really! The only thing that was bad were my hands! So cold they were sore :( but it was fun :D and no editing to get everything around me white!! My crappy backgarden that goes up into what was, until now, a useless hill came in useful eventually :D

I'm already thinking about tomorrows shot... I'll be driving for about 8 or 9 hours so it's looking likely to be a car shot

Ooooh, very tricky call today - I really do like both of them.

yes a tough call, think i slightly prefer the por trait though

Both great shots but portrait for me!...

Ahh thanks guys :) The only thing that bugs me about the portrait is the snow on my hand! I'd like it much more if it wasn't there  but I was working with the self timer, had a big owl ornament used as a marker to get out of the way and then needed time to leap onto the ground... I didn't want any footprints in the shot that I'd need to edit out later... oh, to have been a neighbour of mine at the window!

I get my babies tomorrow finally so should hopefully have a couple of days worth of their faces to spread out over the next (what feels like) 988976765 days

Toni it was the snow on the hand that i really liked!... it added something extra... def a fun quirky shot and thats the kind i like

Wow, I have to agree, the SP wins for me too! The snow in the hand is one of the little things that makes it! Oh, and I want that camera! GIMME!

The more I look at it, the more faults I pick haha. But I do like it! I'd planned to do it in our overgrown garden, peeking out the long grass... then I woke up and it'd snowed past my ankles!

Ahh thank you!! I don't know if it works :( It was my Uncles. Need to get it into a shop.

On a sidenote, can anyone tell me how to choose which sizes to make available when people click the view all sizes button on Flickr? Or is that not something you can change? Looked at my settings but I'm either blind or it's not there..

Hi Toni. Really like both of todays but especially you in the snow, very brave of you. ANd yesterdays is cool too, nice vibrant eyes.

I tried that and it still gives the option to click "original" :shake: I'd love the "mediums" and smaller to be the only ones available if that's possible...!

Oh, and you need a pro account to modify this I believe

Everyone has a pro account! :D I only started using flickr again when the pro freebie came out.. used to pay for it before, though. I've deleted about 70% of the old crap on there

Hey, I can only see "large" shots on your photostream. I can't get at the originals.

It's set to just me on that... I guess the fact that I can click on "original" is just because I'm the account holder then? I was sure I'd seen people whose photos I could only see up to the "medium" set... hmph :( Thanks though! :D

I agree, there's nothing I don't like about that portrait. Especially with the info of what you had to go through to get it.
