Daily 365 Photos 2013.

I really like it.
The vivid red in the background makes a nice splash of colour against the foreground tones, but surprisingly don't draw the eye ;)

Rules are meant to be broken, the processing is beautiful and you are a very pretty girl. What's not to like?

these are great shots Toni - will check out the ones on fb in a bit :) Just got home from work (got my hours wrong so ended up working longer ) and then had to upload and sort the photos from last night ... :)

I love the way you positioned yourself - it really gives the viewer some curiosity as to what you are looking at or thinking about. I agree with Sarah about the colour adding and also not detracting from the focus of the photo.

Beautiful shot Toni and i adore the looking away from the camera shots..

Aww thank you guys! It was just a quickie to make sure I had my shot today. I flew back from Northern Ireland (just home) and knew I wouldn't want to rack my brains when I got home (and I was right; I don't!). Only had about 15 minutes to take/edit/upload... but I like it! And I'm glad that everyone else does too. And that everyone appreciates that rules are sometimes there to be broken! I mentioned it earlier but I failed many an assignment in college purely for breaking a simple rule. Sigh! I say as long as you know the "rules", breaking them is fine

That's a cracking self portrait! Love the processing on it. And whatever about portraits, I definitely prefer self portraits where the "self" is not looking at the camera!

Thanks guys! Appreciating the comments as always :D Matt, I love negative space. I worry my photos all look the same cause I use negative space a lot

Day 14. (un)Covered. by Toni Darling Photos, on Flickr
view on black.

I bought this mask a couple of years ago to use in the studio as part of a college assignment but I never got around to that; it wasn't part of an assignment but a personal project. It's been lying around as part of the decor (yeah...) since then. I love it!

This was a bit of an adventure, post processing wise for me... I have a decent sized (god awful!!!) chest tattoo and big upper arm tattoos. This is the first time I've tried any sort of removal like that and I'm pretty happy with how it turned out!

 Got to say I prefer you without the mask - but the tattoo removal looks pretty good to me :)

have to agree with Sarah about the mask  and the tattoo removal is good :) Didn't even think it was you. Would this be classed as a SP?

Wow you look sooooo erm erm erm..... gorgeous!..:lol::lol:

Seriously great stuff removing the tats:D:thumbs:

Thanks Sarah! It took me longer than it should have probably but I'm quite pleased with it :D

You did a fantastic job removing the tats, Toni, I'd never have guessed there had been anything there had you not pointed it out. I have to say, I've seen your face looking better though! Makes me feel almost guilty about that bacon roll I had this morning! :D

Again a great couple of self portraits. Love the processing on Day 13's shot, and Day 14 again is an excellent shot, and a brilliant job of removing the tattoos.

Playing catch up Toni, the portraits of Caitlin and yourself are very nice, way better than I could ever achieve. As for todays, weird and kind of scary that you were keeping that mask as decoration!

Ahh thank you everyone!

Phil, he lives on the kitchen windowsill with his good friend Chuckie ;)

Both Phil and Chuckie look pretty pleased with themselves ...is there something they are not telling us?

Ahh thank you everyone!

If I look at this on my phone I can only see a soppy Love sign with a cameras on one side and 2 nice ornaments on the other. It's only when I scroll one way and then the other that I can see a scary pigs head and then chuckie! You are weird ;)

hahah thanks guys!

Phil, my house is covered in random clutter/junk/figures etc hahah!

How lovely to be featured in a wedding magazine - it must have been very exciting.

The Tulip is gorgeous, love the soft focus and the processing is just divine :D

Congrats on the mag that's ace!!!....

Tulip is a beauty love it!..

absolutely gorgeous Tulip Toni - great shot

My husband got home from work tonight and told me work had given him the day off tomorrow... instead of thinking "ah nice, we can watch a film/go to the cinema/take a walk together!" I thought "ah nice, how can I make use of you for my 365?" Oops :P
