Ok, heres the scene.
I have a Canon 350d, and a few of the cheapie "beginner" lenses. origionally i was capturing a lot of motorsport (Motor cross etc) so was happy to make do with old "cheapie" lenses incase they were scratched or damaged...
So now im more grown up and a little (tiny bit) more mature. im moving into the "landscape" and "macro" world. i really like the arty farty shots and would like to learn how to capture them myself.
Now, my conundrum is that i have never 100% got along with the 350d, i have a largeish hooter so kept pushing buttons and messing up my shots etc. Im tempted to upgrade to a 30 or 40d, (depending on the right item coming along) as a friend has asked if im interesting in parting with the 350 (as she wants it for her degree course)
So... before i go out and buy myself some lenses and bits and bobs tailered to the shots im after, can anyone suggest if im taking a good step or a pointless step?
My Step dad has a 5d (which i would gladly "half inch..." as i love it. but cant afford or warrant spending that much money...)
Ps. if i did it would be 2nd hand...
Im keen to hear people views on the 30 and 40d, and anything else thats similar money that might be worth a looking.
Cheers
Joe
