I've got a 7000 and a 7100. The 7100 is better with faster focussing. But the 7000 is still good.
No doubt a 7100 would be better, but the budget is £250 so that rules it out.I've got a 7000 and a 7100. The 7100 is better with faster focussing. But the 7000 is still good.
Have you got this body that you recommend it so emphatically?
Are you a D7000 user too?
D3 ? Massive performance, awesome build quality - cheap as chips now.
This is now the way to go OR a D700 either way a very credible body. The D3 is still my Favorite Body, Its so forgiving for me with my 70 200 VR1 on its a killer combo for stage work - I have a D3s and a D810 and a D500 and they are all good But the D3 is like a big old dog that just delivers every time. Dont think I have ever changed a battery on the go either although I have several D3 is a great camera!

I can assure you, you'll love a d700 or d3 when you've saved enough, please believe me.
I found a big difference going from a d3200 to the d7000 and when I got a d700 as a full frame...I can tell you I prefer images from that and the d3 for all bar my wildlife images.
I'm still new at all this Fraser but rest assured the d7000 is a great camera.
Well you've obviously a larger budget than us lesser mortals.I would not get either. The D3s had a monster score on dxo high iso tests. Totally wiped the floor with the D3 / D700 score and that is the one I'm watching out for

If I could afford the d3s i'd have got it, we're talking bodies on a budget in this thread.
Yes, I have a picture which I captured with D7000

You can't go wrong with a d300 buddy, absolute bargain and would be around the 250 mark too.
Damn, that's very cheap indeed. I must be getting confused with the D300s for that price. £159? That's a fantatsic price for a D300, I might have to pick one up myself if they're around that price.£159 I had a good d300 on ebay.
I think mpb or whatever many seem to be using for used gear are overcharging compared to the supplier I use on ebay that are the same business model.

Personally I've never been one to care too much about current tech. I'm still rocking a d2Xs... I know it's not great by todays standards but I love it nonetheless.I know, but try telling someone who wants the latest sensor tech. They would rather have a d3200 or d5200.

The D300 has a solid sensor even by todays standards and it's build quality is right up there too. For that price, you can't really go wrong at all.
Looks like a nice trip to Paris, you had there! Did you go anywhere else whilst in France?
The D7000 ? Are these straight out of the camera or have done any editing to them???
Had an Amazing Journey to Paris. Really loved my time over there!!
I went to many places but Marseille (old port) and the Calanques, Strasbourg (Gothic cathedral), Arles (Gallo-Roman structures) were my best visited places
Nope, pictures are straight out of the Blues! Haven't done any kind of editing or retouching to the same!!
