2013 Photo52 Challenge : WEEK 52 Water

Hahah, I have a LOAD of planes, parachutist and Helicopter with a man below shots to process from last week... And next weekend I'm going to a kite festival!

I'm just too stubborn to use any of them for this weeks theme. I shoot for the theme each week and thems my rules, not changing 'em now at almost half way!

Time to get my thinking cap on... :thinking:

:lol: Just remember that this is meant to be fun, not a punishment!!!

It really doesn't matter if you fall behind a bit, skip a couple of weeks or just post behind everyone else. It's just really good to see so many still on board as we're coming up to the half year mark.

Exactly. I remember last year someone quitting at week 50 because they didn't get a shot in on time, noooooooooo!

For me it's an excuse to get out with my camera and photograph something I otherwise wouldn't! There's no way you would catch me photographing a wind sock under any other situation :lol:

The SAR Sea King is a beautiful old girl, definitely some photos to treasure as she's retiring in 2015 :'( I'll have to find out who the crew man (dope on the rope) was, you never know Prince Wills may have been flying it!

Oh and I nearly had my legs broken on the Llandudno life boat when I was winched off it into a Wessex many years ago (I was a pretend survivor not a real one) in true North Wales gale force winds. Looks like you had an unusually lovely day :thumbs:
 
I've got my movement AND below shot sorted :smug mode: :D My poorly boy has delayed me getting them into my thread, but I just had to gloat here for a second!

Edit* Ok that sounds bad, but it's SOOOOO rare for me to be on time this year let alone one of the first to get the shot in!

Apart from a poorly boy I've no excuse this week to get commenting, Ok maybe work may get in the way just a tad!

My attempts at commenting have been a HUGE failure this week! But then it bothers me when I put effort in to comment and don't get a thank you from the person I've popped in on :nono:

Never mind, the weeks are rolling on and my count down to an easy life continues!

Epic fail from me too on the commenting front Marsha :(

To give decent feedback takes time, something i am lacking at the moment/
 
Hi everyone still left in at this point. Just letting you know that I am still here despite needing to catch up with a few themes. I know I haven't commented on peoples photos for a while but will try to remedy that. Must try harder :-)
Wonder what new theme will be today ?

On manners.... yes, I shouldn't need to be reminded, but I'll take steps to thank those commenters I haven't already. Sorry to those I've missed so far.

When commenting on others' shots, I do find it hard to remember to go back and follow up, until next time... which tends to be some weeks later. Perhaps I should subscribe to them, but there are just too many!
 
Back up to date, just need a few hours for some comments and still trying to find that elusive 8 day week!
