Good morning all....finally got an enforced 2 hours or so of doing nothing whilst waiting for the bike to be serviced so gonna have a nega catch up :thumbs:

Pattern seems like a great theme.....think the hardest thing bout it may be restricting the amount of photo's posted :lol:

Well done to all still hanging on in here & to those trying to catch up..keep on going :clap:

Yes they did... It was discussed heavily and following deep consideration it was agreed that it would be in Norfolk this year :)

Norfolk is good for me....can we just make sure there's a race meet at Snetterton at the same time :lol: Think there's some lovely architecture out your way ? What about coastlines with ship wrecks ? Wildlife reserves ?

All joking aside.....I just took a look on google maps at Norfolk.... has some interesting possibilities....light houses, coasts, windmills , canals....plenty of woods for macro stuff & what appear to be some high vantage points over coastal towns - ideal for T&S images., some quaint looking villages...etc etc


do ya know if there's any shipwrecks round the coast line ?

We went to Norfolk for a week last year (North Norfolk Coast). Lovely part of the world. So lovely in fact that when we got back she took up sketching and I took up photography!

Right, my Lightning Mcqueen cake is now nearly all consumed. I've got Rustic and Vertical sorted, now I'm off to stalk some patterns and maybe do my reshoot. But I have a shot for that already if I don't get a new one today!

I'm back at work tomorrow so hoping to be up to date with muy shots for the first time in months, then I can really concentrate on commenting!

all. I need to apologise for being rubbish at commenting recently. I know that is not in the spirit of the challenge.

I've struggled to find time over the last few weeks so by the time I have got to looking at others' photos it seems that most useful comments have been made already and I don't want to just get into the habit of saying "+1" or "me too"
 
I'm really pleased to be up to date with pics, but sorry not to be up to date with commenting. I've worked out a system now, with a separate tab open for the pictures thread (so the "first unseen" thing doesn't confuse me when I post my own). When I comment, I'm trying to get right up to date on that person's pics "in a onner" as it were, and so I've started a list of who I've commented on and where they are up to (soon to become a spreadsheet, I suspect). I find it quite non-trivial to comment, specially remembering the "critical sandwich": something positive, something constructively negative, ending on something positive. That's about 4 hours today and I'm still not up to date!
 
Critical sandwich, yeah, that's what I try to work towards, failing that a double cheeseburger :coat:

Anyways, the sun is shining in Leeds, I'm off to Bridlington with the family for the weekend, I'm taking my camera, happy days.

Wonder what today's theme will be :D

Movement! I'm off to llandudno today. Apparently there's to be an airshow as well. Surely I can get something on theme from that. Never shot planes before... I bet they are dead easy. Lol

Well I was off Tue - Thur and all it did was rain! I'm working all weekend so obviously it's going to be lovely:bonk:

Here's hoping I can get my movement shot at some point this weekend!
 
We were up the spinnaker tower in Portsmouth today so took a few photos of the view "below", hope its not cheating too much to use one of these even though i didn't know the new theme at the time !

God behind again :thumbsdown: Got vertical and pattern on my camera, got an idea for movement just havent had time and now to think about below. After that find time to comment on others, im so poor at this :( sorry!

Im not giving up though and WILL get back on track :thumbs:
