Yea, bought the D3000 yesterday from Jessops! Not got it home though as when they took it out of the box the kit lens was missing! They are ordering me a new kit. Hopefully i will have it by saturday as i am on hols next week!

Nice choice - did you get a price match on the £329 from Pixmania?

On their website Jessops have the D3000 with different lens options - did you pay the extra £7.80 and get the VR lens?
 
Yea, VR lens option. They are going to give me some discount as they have had to order another in because of missing lens!

One of my mates has just bout a Samsung NX10!!!

Waw, cracking camera. Takes awesome pics!! Now, should i get one of those instead!! lol
 
Canon 1000D ver Nikon D3000, which of these 2 is the better camera guys? Got the option to have either on saturday when the D3000 comes in!!! Looked at both and they both feel great etc. Priced almost the same.

Guy in Jessops said the Canon was the better camera but he may be saying that as it is £20 more! lol

No, i paid for the D3000 yesterday!! They have my money!!

I have been told it will be in and i can collect on sat which i intend to do. Just was curious what you thought of the 1000D in comparison before i actually walk out the shop with the D3000!! Last minute nerves!
 
After all that deliberation, you buy fom the only shop in the country that takes your cash days beofre they have the product in stock :shrug:
 
Aaaaaaaagh!!!! Jessops just rang me to say that the D3000 won't be in now until next tuesday!!! Everywhere else out of stock where i live. Nooooooooo!!!

Am i jinxed?

I am going on hols on sunday morning!!
 
Just checked with my local Comet and they have the Sony A450 for £299!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have looked at one and it did seem bulky. Got to make a quick decision now as i can't wait til next tuesday for Jessops to get the D3000 in as i won't be here!!

Or, my local camera shop, not Jessops, has the 1000D in stock and the Pentax K-x (£399).

Now guys, i know this is partly my fault for taking so long but Jessops did say it would be in on sat!!! Now the date has been moved to next tuesday!

Got to decide now, buy the A450 for £299 or get the Pentax K-x or Canon 1000D. If i don't decide by this week the wife will leave me and everyone on here will spit in my face!!!

Sorry guys. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Again!!)
