192mph driver jailed

Only a total moron would try for 192mph anywhere on the public highway.

As i recall the stretch on the A5 from Towcester up to the Dav turn used to be well known 'barry driving like a penis' territory (not to mention the various straights around the drift area late at night - bazza seemed to think "drift" was an instruction rather than a place name

Apart from the fact it's not drift it's DIRFT :)

Is it ? - do you know i've been calling it drift for about 15 years (I was minorly dyslexic as a kid and though its abated with age i still mix letters up like that sometimes) - however silly punning aside mr souped up corsa does or at least did find much joy in sliding round those roads late at night...

I related a tale no so long ago, early morning, 3 vehicles in convoy, obeying the speed limit, ( 60 ) out of nowhere comes a Cooper ( IIRC, CBA to find the post)
Takes the two tail enders in the blink of an eye, and proceeds to sit up the arse of the van in front, just before the lights at Weedon ( Daventry turn) the road opens out to a long straight, and just before you hit a 30.
At this point the boy racer decides to over take the van in front, into the face of the only on coming car we'd seen for miles.

From my tail end position I could see the words Police on the back of the van, I'm not surprised the blue lights came on, but not half as surprised as the driver of the mini, who must have been blind
or a complete f*** wit ... either way ;)

Well that's just plain DARFT :D
Yeah, it's pretty stupid referring to something by using the initial letters of the words in its name. What on earth were they thinking of?

(For those who didn't know, DIRFT is the Daventry International Rail Freight Terminal.)

Glad you agree
Although it was a play on words to make a sarcastic comment, but you got that anyway I'm sure
