Unhappy Dog
Thats a cracking necklace Brandons wearing Mal, oh and happy birthday mate

, my wife had a good laugh as I struggled across the garden to top up the bird feeders, where consumption at the feeding station has greatly increased.I did think (briefly) about trying to rescue my car once again.... then it started snowing again.... :bang:

This weather is causing me all kinds of problems, I have had to remove the snow from the conservatory 3 times now, luckily the roof has not caved in but I have been unable to prevent the guttering from being damaged , it is now being damaged on the main part of the house as the snow turns to ice where it meets the guttering and then is forced off by the snow sliding down.
I have had to prop up a roof section of an outbuilding that was beginning to sag under the sheer weight of snow.
I have 20 ton of bagged coal over the road that is covered by a large plastic sheet weighed down by an assortment of material, timber, steel, old wheels etc. and with having 2ft of snow on top of all that it is now becoming difficult to access the bags and when I do the bags are frozen solid.
Accessing different parts of the property is very difficult as snow is piled up against doors and those doors had already swelled due to the constant wet weather we had previously making them difficult to open and close.
We have not had any post since Thursday, our post office is refusing any more parcels and is only taking in letters as they have had no collections.
Of lesser importance to some but it bothers me, I can't wash the car.
We are now praying we do not have any power cuts!.
I will not go on
So you will of course understand why I am not exactly overjoyed with weather like this.
But on a lighter note it is becoming very comical trying to walk through the snow as there is a hard crust about 6ins below the surface and just when you think you have a good footing it gives way underneath and you go plunging down a further 18 ins, my wife had a good laugh as I struggled across the garden to top up the bird feeders, where consumption at the feeding station has greatly increased.
White balance is spot on Derek but there is an odd red tint around the front of the car![]()
Stop moaning, at least you'll have some photo opportunities.
wonder why he highlighted the bird feeding bit in red...does he think I was moaning about feeding the birds

:razz:We are getting a right hammering down here now.
OH CRAP![]()
It's really coming down thick and heavy here down south... Good thing I have the monster 4x4 to get around in...
Over two feet deep now here - much deeper in drifts.
What is strange is that when you go out in it you only sink about 4 or 5 inches so it's like being really tall.

What a MAD day.
All flights cancelled, awaiting a update as we speak. Been clearing snow on the aircraft stands, walkways etc all day.
Managed to grab a few shots.
Will post them later, IF I get home![]()
