I'm constantly amazed at technological advances there are some cleaver people working mostly for the military in reality, but the cynic in me often wonders how much of what they do put out like this is complete and utter BS, I mean if they've got the kind of skills/knowledge to bring tech like this to the field is it not about time that CCTV stopped being the grainy useless pile of crap that it usually still is![]()

It's getting close to already being here, every road into and out of Warrington has ANPR cameras up and running 24/7
Years ago they were talking about putting tachographs in 3.5t vans to monitor drivers hours, legally you're only allowed to drive a van for 10 hours a day maximum
With ANPR technology I think they're heading towards traffic monitoring to establish how many hours someone has been driving if there's a serious accident
Shop CCTV will always be rubbish because your average corner shop owner won't spend 2-3k on a HD system if all they sell is beans
