    Photoshop help - remove glare/reflection

Thanks for the responses. I had a quick play using the first method with a single adjustment layer changing brightness and contrast and that seemed to have good results. I had originally played with the burn tool but found that no matter what settings i used it always seemed to 'muddy' the...

    Photoshop help - remove glare/reflection

Hoping someone may be able to give me a little guidance on a shot. I'm trying to find a way that i can remove/reduce the effect of the refelction in this shot. The item being reflected is essentially a white piece of framework but with the rounded canopy it's reflected a number of times. Any...

    Lightroom 4 has landed

Had a quick play with the full version following the upgrade. Has anyone else noticed sluggishness in the sliders on the develop module? Only happens on some images but would say it's around 1/3 of them

Play/movement between QR plate and tipod head

Hi all, Recently i purchased a Gittos tipod with a 3 way head (MH5011). Whilst at a nightshoot last night i noticed there was quite alot of play/movement between the QR plate and the head itself which meant that even with 1 second exposures a slight gust of wind would end up with shot...

Problem with Canon 28-135 - Focussing and IS vibration

Over the weekend at RIAT i think my Canon 28-135 IS USM has developed an issue. It first started when the lens would hunt when focusing and then never achieve it. After that, when it did achieve focus the IS system seemed to go mental causing a vibration. Turning the IS off stopped that from...

Sensor cleaning - caught the mirror

Did think about that. Is there anything else in the chamber that i could damage or is it just the sensor i've got to be really careful of?

Sensor cleaning - caught the mirror

Hi all, Whilst cleaning the sensor on my 7d with sensor pads and fluid today i have managed to catch the corner of the mirror when taking the pad out. The upshot is i have left a few fibres 'caught' on the corner of the mirror mechanism. They don't seem to stick out far and i can't notice...

    The Formula 1 Thread

lol, sorry, forgot those words don't apply to F1 races! Hopefully though, Silverstone should be alot more enjoyable with more oppourtunities and action. With the rule changes (that i'm personally not a fan of) i don't think Red Bull are going to be so dominant. Plus. as it's in the UK and the...

    The Formula 1 Thread

Agree, the f1 race was quite dull. However, both the GP2 races were brilliant entertainment with overtaking and action everywhere!

Norfolk Coast - Looking for good photography spots!

For small boats & huts then maybe Wells is a good option. Others, in the near vicinity, would be Blakney and Morston. These 3 places are only a few miles apart. For landscapes, i'm affraid i can't help much but there is the Holkham park estate very close by

    Computer to computer

Personally i use Logmein for a number of machines. The free version works well for basic stuff and the full version is available on a 30 day trial which then defaults to the free version.

Taking camera to USA - a few questions

Again, thanks for all the comments. Carry on definatley seems t be the way forward then! Not sure i'll be buying any lenses out there unless i find a very good price on a 70-200 L in which case i think i'd collapse the boxes and post back to the uk
