Hi

How do you create a comp to comp over the internet, is it a internet program
that people use to access the remote computer.?? so if I wanted to access and help someone with a problem with the computer Ie see whats the problem is when its gone wrong, how do I set this up.

I dont require step by step just the out line please.

Many thanks.

If you're in the Windows world have a look at Windows Remote Assistance. It's been years since I used it, but I just checked and it still seems to be a feature in Windows 7, despite the age of that article.

This website http://www.joinme.com uses a java app for you to have a conference call using your computer screen. It can be a little slow depending on your connection speed (as with any of these systems). And it's free :)

You can also allow the other person to control your mouse, allowing them to take note of any instruction you give and re-do a task for example.

Personally i use Logmein for a number of machines. The free version works well for basic stuff and the full version is available on a 30 day trial which then defaults to the free version.
