I have a Nikon D40, D2H and D90. I like the D40 because its light, cheap and I am not to bothered where I take it, the D2H because I love getting strings of action shots with it and the high ISO of the D90 is really useful. But I cant help but think a Sony A450 could do everything in the one...

Depends what sort of photos your taking. I agree with the people who say lenses fr the most part. They date a lot slower then camera bodies and in so you can take it and use it on your new bodies. One of my best investments to date is my 70-200mm f2.8. But for some that may not be the way to go.

Another vote for the used Sigma 70-200mm f2.8 HSM and Nikon 80-200mm f2.8 AF-S. These cost a fraction of the price of the new ones. For this sort of lens and I don't think image stabilisation is as imported there so quick to start with and most use them for action shots. If you cant get in close...

Dont know the camera or lens but many will not auto focus with a tele converter on. Also many lenses will simply not fit on many converters.

I got carried away and got one. Dam drunk ebaying. But it has no charger. So was just wondering if some one would be so kind as to charge my battery for me just so I can check it works before spending even more on a charger. Thanks :)

I have a D90 now and am thinking of getting a second body to take with me to motorsport events. My first thought was get another D90 but I have also seen relatively low use D200 and D2x that I could get. Or I could lump it with one for now and just keep saving until I could afford the D300 that...

The standard the 70-300mm lens is not compatible with teleconverturs. Well saying that I can make my Sigma 2X TC fit my 70-300mm but then you cant zoom out all the way, the auto focus does not work and you end up with a tiny maximum aperture. So all in all relatively pointless
