The 6D is coming more into my thinking. Was originally planning to get a 5Diii but as i dont need the sophisticated af, then i'm struggling to justify the extra expense. Just need to get my post number up now so i can sell my 5Dmarkii in the classifieds!

I sold my G3 as i still preferred my GF1. The x100 is great if your happy with one focal length.

I've got a Black Rapid one. Seems pretty trustworthy.

If its for studio use then most lenses are pretty sharp when stopped down nowadays. I started off with a sigma 24-70 2.8 on crop. It was ace.

I bought the L. IS makes it a bit more versatile.

As a bit of an update...now i've got my head round the camera's 'quirks' there is no way i would sell it. Yes, close up focus still sucks...but i love using it more than any other camera i own, and the results are beautiful.

Latest firmware (1.3) AF-S, centre point, focus-recompose As a carry round compact, its ok. Just not great for capturing the kids!

Just bought the black limited edition. Love the camera and image quality, but thinking of selling due to the af.

It will be fine. Thay just need proof of purchase.

For real?? I have a 5d2 so know it's a great camera, but thats one of the strangest reasons for switching i've ever heard!
