    Could be miles of hear but here goes. Could it be that your using a full frame lens on a crop factor sensor?

    Hmm I think if your in to video the 5d is the bullseye in that class with some tv shows using them. I also thinks its alot to do with the feel of the camera, what you could do is pop down to calumets and rent a Nikon and a lens for the day get some hands on that way!

    One thing I found out is that repairs are never cheap. I bent a pin in my cf slot on my D300 the repair cost £275 luckily enough I have cover! didn't even pay a penny. It might be worth taking a real close look at the door hinge it might be the same type of pin in a watch strap. Just one...

    Hmm it's a tough one as I wonder why if he bought the lens in December why sell it the month after? I might be out abit with the lens as I missed the DO could stretch to 500 but but still I think the first post was reading the L series I think if he can produce a proof of purchase go for it...

    Yea the first reply is over priced! The lens is worth around 400ish Down to price I think if it's all new it's a steal but I'm thinking it's most likely not... But I think for me I think it's just over priced maybe 900 second hand.
