This is actually more liek gambling, the only winners are those that win the item (assuming they bid less than full retail) and the auction site, everyone else loses money (as they have to pay 50p a bid). StewartR got it spot on, but should also add that everytime someone bids the time goes up...

I think that DeadlySmurf was ranting because the exchange rate is so GOOD at the moment, you would of expected to pay around £80 (roughly $150) for something thats only $114 in the US. I agree with him another case of a company ripping of the UK cos they know us suckers will pay it.

I don't think there allowed to keep your DNA and fingerprints on file though if your not found guilty of anything. Though i'm not 100% sure on this.

They got my support, i got a round trip of 50miles every day for work and it p*sses me off watching the petrol prices go up every week, and i believe the the gov is adding a further 2p duty early next year.

Fully justified that the UK version is and proberly more expensive than it is in Europe (though haven't checked up on that) That must due to the exchange rate or the VAT, or maybe the cost in translating it from American to English. Until companies stop treating the UK as a place to charge...
