    Durdle door info needed

Very steep steps and cliff edge with no railing, so be careful if it's dark. The view from lulworth back towards durdle is good too.

    Shooting a Hail Mary photo

Not had to worry about this as I'm 6'9 and can shoot over the top of most peoples heads :-)

    Lens choice for my 450D

Still new here and haven't even got my 450d yet. I've been looking at what I'd like to get to go with the 18-55 kit lens. For around £300 (if you don't mind secondhand) you should be able to pick up a 55-250, a nifty fifty and some extension tubes. I think this would be quite a good all round...

Difference between IS and non IS 18-55mm lens

I'm looking at buying a secondhand 450d and was wondering if there is much difference between the IS and non IS 18-55 lens? (apart from image stabalisation :p) Or would also be interested in any similar lens for the same sort of money.

Homemade telephoto lens for fixed lens digital camera

Nice DIY effort, and I thought holding my camera phone up to binocular eye piece was clever. :)

    What lens to get first?

I'm new to dslr's and am looking at getting a secondhand canon eos (350d, 400d or 450d) body. I'm not sure what lens or maybe two lenses to get with it, I'm looking at spending £100-200 depending on how much i spend on the body. I don't have a particular area of photography that I want to focus...

    Hi

Hi my name is Andy. I used to use a basic film slr from my gcse art days, but then grew lazy and have taken very few photos in the last ten years. My interest has been re awakened with my camera phones over the last couple of years and now I'm looking for a digital slr for christmas.
