Hi Guys & Girls

I just stumbled on this site while trawling the net for photo equipment up poped your site with some question i was asking.

I have just started geting into photography and always wanting to learn more and meet other like minded people. I have a Nikon D40 with the standared kit lens and i have invested in a Nikon 55-200MM F4.5-5.6G AF-S VR DX Black Lens I will be getting more lenses in the future.

Well i best stop this intro before i turn it into war and peace.

So glad to meet you all and hopefully get to know you and have some fun on the way.

hi everyone,

i'm from doncaster too (sorry for hijacking your thread wayne). had my canon 450D with kit (18-55mm IS) lens and Canon EF 55-200mm f4.5-5.6 USM II for around 3 months.

now always on the lookout for the next place to take some photos. just started exploring doncaster with a different eye even though it's been my home town since birth!

any pointers of where to go for some good views/photo taking opportunities will be greatly received!

You could always try askern boating lake, Sandle park, or thorpe marsh power station.

If you ever wan't to have a look at someware new but don't like going on your own give me a shout, since i lost my driving licence i struggle to get anyware now.

will do! where abouts are you based?

i went to kings wood last weekend near bawtry and then went to the other end of town to visit cusworth hall.

did sprotbrough a few weeks ago which was worthwhile too.

still learning so it's all good experience!
