Heading down to Goodwood FOS on Thursday, it'll be my first time doing any Motorsport photography so will be fun.
Can anyone give me any recommendations of where to go/stand to get some good pictures of the cars coming up the track and/or rally stage?
Any tips in general would be useful :)
Looking for something small and cheap to take down mines/caves for long exposure light painting.
It's got to fit inside a backpack so less than 50cm (ideally closer to 40cm) when folded and likely to get very dirty with mud/grit, so I don't want something expensive.

Another happy Sigma 10-20mm f/4-5.6 EX DC HSM owner here, great UWA lens.. even though you do look a bit strange taking a photo 2ft away from a person!
Optech Pro Strap very comfortable to use and has clips so it can be released.
Not had mine very long but I've not seen any comments on the various reviews/forums I've read about them coming undone unexpectedly...
Keep it in its bag and bring it indoors, leave it to warm up during the evening and you'll be fine, so long as you don't immediately take the lens off you won't damage anything with condensation.
That and the Canon 1100D.
I'd suggest going into a high street shop and actually holding both, they are different shapes and some people prefer one to the other.
