Yes I've checked that and doesn't seem to be the cause. It seems often to be conditions dependent in that if there is strong contrast between sky and landscape it is worse than on a day like today when is sunny and everything is evenly lit
Anyone experienced metering problems with the 50D? I tend to get overexposure in most shots in AV mode so I end up using compensation most of the time. Thoughts?
I agree. Plenty of cards and keep em safe. Travel a lot to very inhospitable places and carrying enough kit anyway. The other issue is battery power for laptop etc. Not many charging points in the mountains, rainforest or desert.
