    Nikon D7xxx owners thread

    upgraded yesterday to a D7000 myself from a D5000. chuffed to bits with it too. my sons are already arguing over who gets the D5000. 6yr old grandson told them its his as they are all grown up and can buy there own. have noticed though that i need new SD cards as files are bigger.

    Nikon upgrade to D90 - lens question..

    Thinking of this upgrade myself. Or would I be better saving extra and going for D7000/D300s? I am starring to use of camera flash plus being able to use more lenses would be great too.

    Black Rapid RS4, RS5 or RS&?

    Have had my rs4 for 5 months now and wish I had got one sooner. so much better than normal strap. my son even sneaked my rs4 out of house when he went away for weekend, to use on his camera.

    i think raangefinder for focus only works in A and S mode. in manual mode it is for exposure. need to check it bit i think thats how it works martin

    Monopod-Is it worth having?

    i find that mono pod can double up as a hiking stick too while out and about on rough ground.many a time i have used mine more for hiking than having camera on. martin
