There are exceptions but generally the FX lenses are ‘S’ class lenses, higher quality optics/coatings with features like weather sealing etc With the advent of the Z5ii we are starting to see cheaper FX lenses though, like the 1.4 primes and the newly announced 24-105. The DX lenses are very...

You can set the limits of Auto ISO to what you find acceptable. My limitations are DX 3200, FX 6400 but each to our own ;)

I’m sure you will have seen it but the Mirrorless Comparison site also lists his best settings for BIF for the Z6i but it’s so similar to the z6ii. Mirrorless Comparisons Z6 settings

It’s a kit lens and will probably be about £350 in real terms when sold with a Z5ii. I can see it struggling on the 47mp cameras unless in DX but the early reviewers seem to like it.

    Lens Dilemma for Safari nikon

I did Tanzania a couple of years ago with a z50/z6. I took a Tamron F mount 100-400 as my longest lens. It was fine in Tarangire and Serengeti but on a couple of occasions I could have done with a bit more in Ngorongoro.
